Happy Birthday, Princess!

Happy Birthday, Luba, happy birthday sweet girl!! I'm guessing you weren't aware that today was your birthday. No one around you celebrated, no one hugged you, no one whispered happy birthday in your ear. No one was there to hug you, love you and celebrate you...but that's all going to change.

Your mommy and daddy are on their way for you, sweet girl. They are working so hard to get you and your two brothers home. I am praying for you, and praying for your momma and daddy. Praying for strength and peace...for both of you. So when you're feeling scared, tired or lonely...I pray you still have hope that a momma is coming for you - you are not forgotten, you are loved, you are cherished, you are special. You haven't had an easy first three years, but I pray that that's all about to change.

God loves you, Jesus loves you, I love you, and your momma and daddy love you more than you'll ever know. It's evident in the way your momma writes. I love you, sweet girl, and I am praying for you. Happy birthday, princess, happy birthday.

Family Found

Luba (Lily), Dustin and Joseph, all from "Orphanage 17" in Eastern Europe, all HIV+, are now listed on the "My Family Found Me" section of RR. http://reecesrainbow.org/category/rescued

Please pray for this family. I am in the process of contacting them to share with them and ask if it is still okey for me to blog about their Lily/Luba, as well as to start a fundraiser for them to help bring their three "positively precious" blessings home! :)

For now, thats all I know. Please pray Luba is in the arms of her mommy and daddy soon and that she is safe and well right now. Please also pray for the family as they are going through the adoption process, as many of you know is a stressful and trying time.

Thank you for praying for my precious girl and her new family!

More Info

Luba/Lily is also listed on Project Hopeful's website: http://www.projecthopeful.org/waiting-kids/details/3/238 Go to www.projecthopeful.org for more info on raising/adopting a child who is HIV+.

I am waiting to find out what country Luba is in. Then I will be able to share agencies that her family can do their adoption through!

Luba or Lily

Luba has now been listed on RR as "Lily". I do believe that Luba is her real name, as it is more European than Lily! :) You can call her Lily, or Luba, but I am going to keep calling her Luba...I fell in love with her as Luba so I will continue to love on and pray for my sweet Luba.

RR also posted the following:

From an adoptive parent who met her last year: I got to see little Lily in a music class as well. She is so sweet and small. She is such a little cherub! She seems a little shy but she participated in the class, and participated in all of the actions while they sang their song. She listened sweetly to her caretaker and followed directions well.

Please pray for Luba's family. I know they are out there somewhere...and I also know that there are a few families praying if she is theirs! Please pray for these families, for the wife's and husbands to both be at peace with whatever decision they make...just pray her family says yes soon!

When we know that Luba has a family...I have $100 waiting to go to her family. I also have a giveaway in the making to help her family fundraise once they say yes! :)

Meet Luba

Luba is an adorable little girl living in Eastern Europe. She will turn 3 in July. Luba is HIV+, but otherwise healthy, and searching for her forever family-her mommy and daddy to love on her and care for her. The country she is in does allow for larger families to adopt, but not single mommies.

I have fallen in love with her, and although I cannot adopt her (way too young, single, etc.) I KNOW I can advocate on her behalf...how happy I will be when I get to hear the words "she has a family!"...please pray for her, and visit her RR page to donate towards the cost of her adoption at: http://reecesrainbow.org/luba1706

On the RR link you can click on the yellow "donate" button next to her picture to help cover the large cost of adoption for her mommy and daddy.

Please pray for Luba. Pray for her protection, health and that she will feel loved. Pray that she is getting her ARV's to help treat her HIV, that she would have loving care takers, and most of all, that her mommy and daddy will find her soon!
